How To Side Load Apps on your Google TV with 3.1

thanks for the vid.

Has anyone figured out how to sideload google apps, like calendar.apk and calendarprovider.apk?

trying to install them with astro file manager gives a 'problem parsing package error' and you can't copy files to /system/app without root.

(I have the sideloaded 'agenda widget' app on my homescreen, but it can't fetch my account calendar data without calendarprovider.apk on board.)
