how to silence orientation sound when plugged in

I dont know if this is a "feature" of ADW Launcher or if it also does it on a stock Fascinate....

but when I have it plugged into a USB cable on a computer the damn thing chimes every time the screen changes from portrait to landscape, dadada ding! dadada ding!.....every time i pick it up and that is really starting to get annoying!!

it does not do this when plugged into a wall charger using the same USB cable

the solution is to turn off USB debugging!
