How to speed up s3

Is there any way to speed up my s3 without root?

Root won't speed it up. Flashing a kernel that allows speed control, then setting the speed higher will. Bit a) it totally voids the warranty and b) could cause your CPU to overheat and die (which would cost you a whole new motherboard). And the amount of speed increase you can get is hardly worth the effort.

Just putting a much lighter aosp based rom on it (without overclocking) speeds the s3 up considerably though :thumbup:
What is it that you want to be faster though? Gaming, user interface, internet....?

Do you have power saving turned on?
