How to stop a particular app's data usage.

I want to restrict some application's data access without effecting the remaining.Is there any way to do it?

If you root your device, it is a simple matter to run an app like Permissions Denied or Super Manager (+ probably others) to selectively disable data permissions for the app(s) in question.
