Help how to stop auto updates

Sorry if this has been asked before but how do you stop auto app updates on the S5?. Theses are for bloatware apps installed on the phone, with only 1 (firefox) being installed after.
Every time I turn on wi-fi all these updates start downloading for stuff I never use and don't want. for example there is a HP printer service update, I don't even own a HP printer so who knows where this comes from.
I have disabled most of the bloatware apps but updates still keep trying to download eg for Flipboard.
Basically I can't use wi-fi now at home because all this rubbish starts every time.
Any help in stopping this would be appreciated
Just to make clear these are not Apps I have got from Play Store but bloatware that came with the phone.
thanks

Even though yu didn't get them from the Play Store you still need to open the Play Store app to disable Auto-updates.

Open the Play Store
Tap on the triple bars (AKA Hamburger menu) and choose Settings
Tap on Auto-update apps and choose Do not auto-update apps

That's it.
