How to stop automated voice messages

I use an HTC Desire mobile and for the past two weeks, every morning when I switch on my phone, I get this repeated voice message that is automated. Can someone on the forum tell me how to stop this irritating call?

Look at your recent calls list from within your phone app, find the offending number, long - press on it, and choose "block number"....
Goodbye to your irratating caller....

Is this a phone call? Or something on your phone that does this? What does the voice message say?

Try turning on do not disturb.

Then optionally, set an exception for your contacts.
