how to stop google maps?

hello, I use Samsung gts5282. it's my first android phone. I hope there will be another ways other than stopping Google maps manually? these prefetcher services (or what?) get started every when I switch on my phone. & always stopping manually is not possible. how to escape those problems? plz allow me know.

You have two options, you can root the phone and uninstall it from system, then install it as a regular app. It shouldn't auto-open then.

or you can buy this app and program it to kill it whenever it opens unless you open it.
