Help How to stop my new android phone from installing old apps

Hello all,
I tried searching for this problem but I couldn't find anything similar.
The problem I have is that I just bought an Android tablet which is HTC Flyer, and I signed in to my google account the one that is on my HTC Desire HD, and I restarted my phone and saw all the apps that I had on my Desire HD are on my tablet now and I don't want that... Is there a way to stop preventing that from happening????

Sorry for my bad english.... my explanation isn't that great... i hope u guys don't find it hard understanding me and I hope I posted this the right place.

Thanks in advance :)

Yep, I've just got a new phone, and all the old apps automatically installed, which I don't want.

Even more annoyingly, Twitter's own app auto installed, but when I go to manage applications, it doesn't show up, so I can't uninstall it. Yet it's clearly there as I can open and use it. I don't want it as I want to try just using the HTC Sense Twitter integration.

Happy to hard reset and start again if anyone knows a solution.

Thanks,
Matt

As far as I know, you have to manually stop the apps from installing. I wish Google would change that behavior - or at least make it optional (such as giving us a list of apps and letting us check the ones to re-install.) I don't like it either.
