Help How to sync my galaxy S with my computer?

Hello everyone.

i have a samsung galaxy S with froyo.
i would like to keep a backup of everything in my phone (sms, apps, etc).

Any suggestions? Please keep in mind that my phone is NOT rooted.
i was thinking maybe it is best to sync with my computer and back up everything in my comp. But how do i sync with my comp?

If there are other better suggestions, i gladly welcome it =)

I use Titanium Backup. I think it can be used without having root but is not as complete. The feature I like in the paid version is that it will sync all the backups with Dropbox. If you're not familiar with that, google it & look for the dropbox thread here.

i search the android market for Titanium Backup and i get 2 versions - a pro and non-pro version.
both requires root.

any other suggestions?
