I am wondering how to capture screenshot in Nexus 5X. Holding the power button and volume down button at the same time doesn't work.

I just tested it and the power button + volume down does work - takes a second or so to register. Having said that, you seem to have to push both buttons at the same time to get it to work and it took me a couple of attempts.

Power + Bottom volume button does work. I have taken a few screenshots today.
However, whoever make the decision to put both the power and volume buttons on the same phone side should be hanged by their fingernails and then fired.
It is possible, if your hand is big enough, to take a screenshot with one hand (I just did it). But it was a whole lot easier when the buttons were on opposite sides.

Also discovered that the volume button appears to be blocked by the holster case I wanted.
It seems that the phone was designed to be exclusively held (Millennial style) in the left hand. If you are left-handed, the phone will not work well in your right hand because of the power and volume buttons being on the same side. You'd have to move your thumb to control buttons. Wonder why no reviews mentioned this previously (that I saw)? Maybe eal reviewers were right-handed and carried the phone in their left hand?
