I just read a dictionary.

I recall a Superfriends episode from the 70's where there was a computer called the G.E.E.C. It was pronounced "GEEK".

In the 80's I worked for a company called Geac (pronounced "JEE ack") in high school during a one-week work experience stint.

As with many things, I find that I fit easily into both categories. I'm some of this (geek) and some of that (nerd). So I guess I'm a geeknerd.
