How to temporarily disable syncing apps?

Hello,

Is there an easy way to disable automatic syncing for all apps?

The reason I ask is when I'm abroad data charges are fairly high but I'd like to connect once a day to check my emails and have nothing else connect to the Internet so I don't rack up lots of data charges.

If you download Power Toggles or Settings Extended (pretty much the same thing and both free in play store), they have a toggle that will allow you one-click settings to turn on or off sync.

They basically create a widget bar at the top of your notification pane for this.
