I wanted to see if you gurus had any advice on this. I am testing a Google CR-48 laptop. it i a great solution for mobile browsing. I was trying to find ways to use my EVO for internet functionality though since I already pay a lot of money for its connection.
None of the standard ways seem to work -- such as pdanet or easy tether because theya ll require a program to be installed on the computer side of things -- not an option with google's operating system.
Any tethering options that avoid signing up with Sprint's official plan and does not require installing a program ont he PC? Phone is not currently rooted - but would consider that as an option if it was the only solution.
