Help How to transfer swiftkey apk from computer to phone

I downloaded the swiftkey apk to my computer but can't figure out how to transfer it to my phone. Can anyone help with this?

Send via email then use a program like astro to open up the file.

Or plug your phone into your computer with your USB cable, mount it as a disk drive, then copy and paste the file.

Which version? Can you not just download from Google Play? It would be a lot easier and safer.

I know some people download the apk files because they don't want to pay but there are a few other reasons like downloading an app that is not available in your local store. I had to download Pandora, a free app mind you, from another website to install it because it's not in my Google Play store.

On Topic: To install it just connect your phone to your PC and choose to use it as a hdd from the options. Then copy and paste the file into a folder, preferable your downloads folder. After that use Astro (free file manager from the store) to go to your downloads folder where you can click to install it. Hope this helps.

I have emailed an .apk to my Gmail account as an attachement and when I open the email on my phone there is an Install button available within the message. Works great!

It could be the Swiftkey 3 Beta which isn't on the market.
