How to turn off dings on voice search

People have posted on this before, but I'm asking again in case there is a solution. This happens on Samsung S10 and on Pixel 5 and I think on other devices. So this is the issue: when hitting the mic symbol in the search bar using Chrome or Firefox, there is a loud ding, and a second ding after you have dictated the question. How do you stop the phone making these sounds? Chrome and Firefox settings lack any such option, plus there are no keyboard settings available on the Pixel certainly. The great sounding Samsung sounds app is not available for Pixel? And if any developers out there are reading this, please remember the golden rule of programming, which is always include an opt-out for users who might not see the cunning brilliance of your innovation. In this case, users might not want to irritate the hell out of anyone in the vicinity when using voice search. Solutions please!

Contact the developer, which would be Google.
That "ding" is baked into the app.
What do you mean by 'the app'? As I've mentioned, it occurs on Chrome and on Firefox -- different developers. Also, I have only just started getting the problem on Pixel, so I know I've changed a setting somehow.

Go into assistant settings then to accessibility, there should be 2 options - mic open and mic close notifications, turn them off. It may or may not help but in theory it should stop the beeping.

edit: you didn't change a setting, Google did. They messed with the ding lol

on my z fold 4, the only time i get a "ding" is when i use google assistant.....mainly when i say "hey google". other than that there is no ding when doing a mic search.

thanks, which suggests it may be phone-specific as yours is a different brand, cheers

Sadly, those options you mention don't exist on Pixel 5
