How to turn off ongoing notification WiFi Connected?

On my AT&T Note 2, whenever I am connected WiFi, it has this huge ongoing notification says Wi-Fi connected. I can see that my WiFi is connected on the top status bar. I unchecked everything under WiFi and still I am getting that.
 
Might have to look in the Galaxy S3 area. Seems these persistent notifications and such are similar to the S3 annoyances.
