How to unlock LG G2 LS980 from Sprint ?

I own one LG G2 from Sprint since 2 week, I wanna switch to T-MOBILE for the $30 prepaid plan.
After googling couple dozen thread (XDA mostly), I didn't find a solid way to unlock the LG G2 yet.
Do I miss something?

I am lost also what you mean unlocked. Will this be carrier unlock ,Sims unlock or the unlocking of a locked screen

Why move now sprint and T-Mobile has merged . but does your device have a sims card slot . if so your cool can be done with some work . but if not you have a problem need to trade in device for a new one . BUT SPRINT AND T-MOBILE HAS MERGED

They don't have merged yet, and yes my Sprint LG G2 come with a sim slot.
