How to update sdcard on the phone?

How do I update my sdcard through my phone? I put new music on my phone, but my phone doesn't seem to recognize it. On my TP2 I would update my sd card through Windows Media Player. I don't see the option in any of the music players or phone.

it should auto update once unplugged from the usb cable. if not, turn the phone off and back on.

(music should be in the follow folder > root of the sd card > media > audio)

Does this update help with corruption issues and slow sdcard issues? All my pictures and my videos stop working, corrupt etc.

I'm about to throw this pos phone into the wall.

I keep removing the memory card and formating it, it last a few hours then my crap stopped working again.

It's not just media. Like one minute Installer can see my apk files, the next it sees none and crashes. It's all related to the memory card I'm finding.

You might have to reboot the phone in order for the phone to sync with the SD Card for changes.

There might be an app to do it, but I am not sure.

Sad. I was hopeful this wouldn't be the case with needing to reboot. With the Hero, I could easily unmount, take out, and put back in the SD card.

Typically I just mount the phone as a USB drive and add the music to the music folder. Then when I set it to just charge, it mounts the MicroSD on the phone and I can play it back by whatever media player I'm using.
