Help How to update to jelly bean?

I am not with US(I am in Taiwan)
I try to upgrade but the phone only update software
I use Kies Air
The website say Taiwan already got an upgrade to android 4.1.1
Where is it?

You have two solutions:

1. So called OTA (over the air) is direct download of Jelly Bean over Wi-fi. Connect you Galaxy to some Wi-fi network (or mobile network, if you have data plan), then go to Settings->About device (right at the end)->Software update->Update (check for updates) and it should offer you an update. Note that Samsung recommends that you have 70% or more battery. You just click to download it, and the device will do it all by itself (all the stuff from the phone remains unchanged, so you don't need to backup). If it says "No updates available", try solution number 2, because they usually release update over Kies, and after that OTA update:

2. I saw you have tried to update over Kies Air. That will not work. You need to use regular Kies, via USB connection. Install Kies (it shouldn't be hard to find it using Google), turn it on, then connect your Galaxy via USB cable. When they connect, it will offer you the latest firmware (Jelly Bean) and you just click it. Kies will guide you step by step and that's it. If there is no update available, it will just say "this is the latest firmware".

I hope that this helped, unless you have already found the solution. If you have found it, that would suck, because I had to register before I wrote this.
