Help How to update?

I've noticed on my GTab 8.9 that when I go to the settings to check for a software update it forces me to either sign in with or create a Samsung account. I do not want to get a Samsung account but I can't see any other way to get my tablet to check for updates, i.e. the new 3.2 update that just dropped. Is there any way around this?

You can go to SamMobile Firmware Page and download the ROM you want for your device. It will require you to set up an account, though.
