I have an apad android 2.1 and would like to upgrade it. Can this be done and how can I do it? Will I lose anything that is already on my apad?

If you contact the manufacturer, they can surely tell you how to do it. If it cant be done, come back on here, or look on xda, and you can root the device and install a 2.1 rom.
bill get a clue man d/l titanium backup pro and dropbox(sync to pc) backup every thing to laptop
do the upgrade coz u gonna lose every thing when u do it
