Help how to, usb debugging

the usb debugging option is grayed out on my husbands f6 and he's unable to select it. what do we need to do to be able to enable usb debugging ?

it is grayed because phone is plugged to cable, just unplugged it to be able to select it

Well, it was unplugged. It's just weird, it's just always been so easy on all our other android devices.

If the device is unplugged (and it is a LG Optimus F6) then you must be able to go to "Menu\System Settings\Developer options" and select "USB debugging", if you are not able to do that the device software or hardware have a problem, if you factory reset issue should be gone (but make a backup first).

thanks so much for all your help. we actually had one of those "well, duh" moments and rebooted the phone. voila, there it was. no longer grayed out. yea! still don't know what caused it to become unavailable to start with but i'm not gonna worry about that for now.
