Help How to use a proxy sever?

Syyntax

Hello,
I have an LG AKA and I live in germany. This phone isn't available in germany, but I ordered it from South Korea. But I can't update the System Software. The phone has Kitkat 4.4.2 and I'd like to update to Lollipop.
I know it's possible, but only in Korea. How do I use a proxy server for the system updates?
I already know how to use a proxy server for the phone browser, but that doesn't work.

I could also download the update from the LG website, but that means I need to root my device. I don't want to root anything. Could someone please tell me how to do this?
It should be possible, because if I use a proxy the phone will think I'm in south korea.

A VPN(Virtual Private Network) is probably what you're looking for, to spoof LG's servers that you have a Korean IP address. Most VPNs I've seen and used, usually they're US, or sometimes EU countries. Think you'd have to Google "Korean VPN" and find one. Not sure if this would work though, because the phone will still geo-locate to Germany, with WiFi, GPS, cellular info, if that's what LG is also using.

That's all I can tell you as I don't have an LG or know anyone else who has one that's been grey imported.

Hi I have LG AKA too but I bought mine from HK to Australia (and it is Korean phone but has HK apps too). I had a problem with Come in widget when I'm trying to click Snapshoot but it tells me to dowload apps. It's already downloaded but I cannot click Snapshoot. That's the problem I have.
