how to use android tv launcher app by google

Hello, I just installed official google app called android tv launcher on android tv box, play store says uninstall instead of install which means it is already insalled but it doesn't make sense. Not activated there is nothing about it, it isn't showing in the apps nor homepage, app isn't seen anywhere, nor activated what can I do? How should I activate this launcher?

what are you trying to do? are you trying to watch google's play movies? or your own videos? are you trying to stream movies from youtube or netflix?

why do you need the google tv launcher to change appearances? you should be able to get apps to stream or even watch mp4 videos. no need for the launcher.
