Help how to use bluetooth on G2???

I'm an android newbie and have a question. What I'm trying to do is to send a ringtone via bluetooth. Is there a way this can be done with a G2 phone? I'm running android 2.2 Do I need to upgrade in order to transfer ringtones with bluetooth? Is there an app that would do the trick? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
