Help How to use the Voice actions/google goggles

Hi guys been having the optimus one for abt 4days now and its really awesome!

The voice actions work pretty good but im not able to send text msgs or call contacts using it, and it did correctly recognise the words.. eg: "send text to mom [msg]. but it just google searches it. Its the same case when i try to call a contact.

Do i need to install any update or anything for this to work?
Also how do i use google googles?

Google voice recognition isnt too good.

Install Google Goggles from the Android Market.

Open it, click something that you want to search and there you go!

Quick tip : Goggles can be used to translate stuff.

hi,

im a noob. just got myself an new optimusone toy..
can anyone guide me on:
1) download/install/maintain android app from market to SD card?
2) i have replaced the orig 2g card with an empty 16G, and its really that empty.
dunno which software to start with. downloaded updater from LG but doesnt say anything about installing app

i can read links/forums discussions etc...but it would really means nothing to me as i figured discussions assume a little understanding about what they are talking about....would appreciately greatly for a little stepbystep flow which is which next ...using guided info from whichever link you would graciously share.
