How to use US GN in Canada?

I live in the US and have Verizon. What options are there for using my phone in Canada? Will there be insane roaming charges? Actually, any info about using a GN in any country is appreciated!

Not sure if it'd work but I think rogers has LTE...

Maybe you could purchase a rogers sim + prepaid card?

Just speculating but I'd try.

Using a if you are on Verizon, and try to use it out of the country, you bet your butt there are going to be insane roaming charges!

Probably your best bet is going to be turning off data, and sticking to phone calls on a need to use basis and using wifi when available.

I doubt it would work. First off, the Verizon Nexus has no GSM radio, so that's out and as such he would have extremely limited coverage. He's probably just better off roaming and making sure not to use data.

Bell does LTE in Toronto and a few other places. Telus also has a CDMA/HSPA network but i don't know about their LTE plans.
