Root How to use Wireless Tether after FOTA Update on HTC EVO ?

I purchased the HTC EVO when it came out and I used this video to Root it and install Wifi Tether and it worked great for a few weeks:

Yesterday I accepted the FOTA update on the HTC EVO and baaam!
I can't use the Wifi Tether no more !

Anyone knows a quick fix for this ?

Please keep it short & simple and use plain english for technology challenged people like us....

I'm wanting the same thing. I have no reason to root except that I'd like to be able to use the phone as a hotspot without paying the $29.99 for the Sprint app.

Unfortunately, I don't think there's an easy way to do that anymore. If anyone on here can explain the easiest way to do so without changing anything else, it'd probably help a lot of people on here.

The OTA Update kills root access and if you want to wireless tether you gonna have to pay for the Offical sprint version..Best not to update if you want free wireless tethering...I press cancel to the update everyday just to keep my Free wifi tethering
