Help How to view hidden images normally

Hi, I am new Android world & using Galaxy s4 GTI9505 updated to android4.3.3. I know by putting .nomedia file in a folder or renaming the folder by prefixing with period(.) symbol hides the images of that folder from Gallery. But if I try to view the hidden files from File manager (of android stock), I am just to able to see the image (in gallery app) whichever I am clicking from file manager. From that, I am not able to view the next images by just sweeping the screen. This functionality is working fine for the non-hidden images. Its not working only if its hidden. Anybody have solution for this. Thanks for your help.

I use Quickpic which has the ability to scroll through hidden pictures that are opened using a file manager. It's in the play store.

you could use "My files" as a file explorer and open the item you're trying to access. It should allow you to choose which app is req'd to open the files.

Aloha and Good Luck!

Yes, this is what I am currently doing. But the problem is the stock gallery app (Photos) doesn't allow you to scroll through other images (which are hidden) in that folder.
