Help How to wipe a tablet completely?

How would one wipe an android tablet completely so it was like it just came out of the box. And I don't want to encrypt all my data and reset or anything like that. I just want my hard drive to be as if it was brand new.
 
A factory reset will wipe the data partition meaning any changes you've made, files you've added etc will be gone. Is that what you're looking to do?
 
A factory reset will delete the files, unless someone goes to extreme measures to get them back, they're gone.

So you're wanting a complete return to stock (unroot etc), am I reading that correctly? The process differs for each device, what do you own?

Look, a factory data reset clears the /data and /cache partitions, and on the vast majority of devices, that's a full format, not just breaking the inodes as you're trying to describe.

Of course a factory data reset won't remove root because rooting is a mod to the /system partition - and it would have been helpful for you to mention it up front instead of arguing about it after the fact.

So your real question is, how do I return my unnamed rooted tablet back to a clean stock condition?

And the first answer is - because root varies by device and we don't know what other mods you've made, please let us know what device it is, how you rooted it, and did you install a custom recovery?

And then searching your posting history, I find that you have a Samsung Tab 3 and you used Kingoroot.

Someone else is going to have to help with how to reflash your entire tablet using Samsung software - if possible - because Kingoroot is known to be real garbage.
 
You're pretty lost my friend, and not to be rude but you unplugged your tablet in the middle of rooting it....either follow through or leave it for another day man. Anyway, look at this guide. That's how you wanna root your tablet, and you have a pc so you're golden. Now about going back to full stock, what's your model number?
