how to wipe the superuser icon?

How can I get rid of the superuser icon? Verizon is sending me a new lucid even though its my backup phone. I got rid of the root and some of the the os files are still messed up and the icon is still there like its part of the software?

How did you unroot?

Anyway, you should be able to just uninstall the app

I had to use root explorer and deleted everything that related to root then I downloaded an apk uninstaller and tryed deleting su but realised I had to unprotect my kernel first then it finally deleted my icon on a system wipe. If you have a root keeper you need to disable before anything. And use titanium to uninstall all root apps at the end before system wipe. Now there is no sign of root anywhere.

You are most likely still rooted. You can download a root checker to verify this. Oh and BTW, once you are rooted, there is no way to revert the phone back to it's pre-rooted state, it will always have a 'signature' of being rooted.
