Root How to work this?

If i have TWRP already and install 4EXT through the play store... what will happen?.. will it overwrite TWRP? or what? as far as i understand they are both recovery's (i want 4EXT so i can flash with S-on) will i need to do anything special or can i leave TWRP in place?

It will just replace TWRP.

you can flash things with s-on...

I found out that you don't have to flash the boot.img separately if you start your recovery from fastboot using "fastboot boot recovery.img" even if you're S-ON.

Even with s-off I personally much prefer 4EXT over any of the other recoveries. After switching recovery remember to make a new nandroid backup image because they are not interchangeable between recoveries.
