Not that I'm in the market for an N5, but I am keen to see it

The rumour's also made more mainstream news outlets - CNET, Yahoo and the like.

Considering there hasn't been any announcement of a press event yet, I wouldn't expect it any time within the next week.

I'm betting on closer to an October 31st announcement/release.

If the past is any indication it will happen next week. I only say this because it always happens while I am at a conference in Las Vegas and that conference is next week. Of course this is purely anecdotal and should not be taken seriously.

Usually this stuff boils down to a single leak, probably bogus. But pretty soon, every Android site on the web picks it up, followed by more and more mainstream media. It seems like there are leaks everywhere and "everybody is talking about it, so it must be true", but if you look closely you'll find that it all originates from a single source. Usually bogus.

Will they just release the phone already. I love nexus and really hope they have a sprint version. My gnex is great but is starting to act up. So impatient for the n5!
