I just noticed the date of this article was almost a year ago and I believe this deal went through sometime in the last month. Nice to be reminded the Bell monopoly is still strong. :hmpf:

Same as it ever was. Lack of proper government regulation equals stupidity like this. Just another example of letting big business write their own rules, and it failing the consumer miserably.

It will probably be a pain for now, but once VoLTE becomes the norm, devies will come with multi-band LTE similiar to how many standard GSM phones are now.

We would probably get that regardless. Verizon makes everything more difficult when it comes to porting a device over :banghead:
