hey guys im literally 2 days away from ordering my nexus one but ive read about many sob stories on the google forum about shipping.... how did your order go?
 
I know you are excited about getting this phone, but you should really try to keep all of the discussion of you buying it and related questions to 1 thread.

That being said.... my experience was great. Free overnight shipping. However... it does not include Saturday delivery, and of course no delivery on Sunday either.... so if you order Friday, you won't get it till Monday.
 
Ordered mine at 1:30 PM EST. I had it in my hands at 9:30 the next morning (called FedEx, asked them to hold at my local facility for pickup)

Placed order at 17:15 GMT Tues 19th
Phone call from HSBC fraud dept at 17:45
Retried card 17:50
'Google received my order'
Payment taken

Weds 20th am: Received tracking number
Rest of Weds phone sits around doing nothing

Thurs 21st am: Phone heads toward Cincinnati airport
Thus afternoon: Phone leaves Cincinnati for EMA
Thurs night: Phone lands in England!

Fri 22nd am: Phone leaves airport and heads toward depot.
Fri morning: Phone out for delivery
Fri afternoon: Phone in my hand
 
Shipping to the UK was awesome. Ordered on Tuesday night, had it first thing Friday morning. Really pleased :)

last thread had an error in the name it didnt post correctly.
 
I ordered mine on Monday, late in the evening (about 11:30pm GMT). Got a call from the credit card company, fixed that up, but not heard anything since Monday.
 
In the UK. I wouldn't say it's a problem, as I've only been waiting a day and a half. I'm not sure what's typical for people in the UK though, as some said it seemed to ship almost straight away.
