Nubbie G1 owner...got the phone for free from my son when he his job gave him a new smart phone with 1gig processor...don't know which model. He rooted my G1 and its running the Android 2.2 update. I'm interested in programming so I've got the Android emulator set up on two of my home pc's for development using Eclipse with SDK for Windows. Question I have is this:
I can get SU to work while in Terminal on my G1. But cannot get SU in my emulators terminal window. I want to learn what I can about networking my pc to my emulator and when I have more than one emulator running, network them together. Problem is I get the permission denied routine in terminal. I've done hours of reading on the net and have tried: adb kill-server; adb root, but this doesn't work. My son thinks the emulators image file may have to be rooted??? Any ideas? Thanks in advance...
