Howdy!

Welcome to the forums!

Which phone is best is a difficult question to answer... each person will argue why their phone is the best (and will have good reasons behind why).

The best bet is to get as much android as you can afford... as in pay as much as you are prepared to pay. If you get a higher end device, your experience is very different to if you get a lower end device.

Another good tip is to get some hands on time in a shop with the devices (perhaps once you have got it down to a final few). You might like the look of 3 devices, all with similar specs, but when you get to handle them, have a "Goldie Locks" moment... you could decide that one feels too "plasticky" one feels too small/big in your hand and the other is just right.

Each phone has a sub-forum on the site, so it may be worth going in the sub-forums of the phones you are interested in and seeing what other users have to say about each phone.

Hope you manage to make your choice and that we see you back here once you've gone for it!!

Hello and welcome to Android Forums! :)

If you are sticking with a particular carrier, that will narrow the field considerably.

Don't think of it so much as a phone with features, but as a little pocket computer that can make phone calls. There's nothing wrong with going for a proven model and the EVE certainly qualifies. The only thing you may see is that it may become a little sluggish as the demands of new apps tax its resources. And, it may not be updated to the latest version of Android when it becomes available. It still will be a very nice phone and perfectly functional, but those things are a priority concern to some folks.
