Then check out Sprint coverage in your area and their rate plans. The EVO is still a pretty good phone, though hardly the top model any more.
Don't think of it so much as a phone with features, but as a little pocket computer that can make phone calls. There's nothing wrong with going for a proven model and the EVE certainly qualifies. The only thing you may see is that it may become a little sluggish as the demands of new apps tax its resources. And, it may not be updated to the latest version of Android when it becomes available. It still will be a very nice phone and perfectly functional, but those things are a priority concern to some folks.
