I'm not only new to Android, I'm new to smartphones in general. Just got my first one this week, a Samsung Galaxy Proclaim (re-branded Illusion) from Straight Talk running v2.3.6 (Gingerbread).
I'm glad to have found this site, because I have the typical dozens of newbie questions, which I'll ask in the appropriate forums. Just wanted to introduce myself first.
(And if I've already posted an introduction, I apologize. I've joined so many help sites in the past couple of days, they tend to blend together and I forget where I am.
