I've joined Android Forums to keep up with my 6-yr-old grandson whose dad works at Google and brings home oogles of devices to put through the wringers and report back to HQ. They've got enough experimental tech strewn around their house that you can use tablets for coasters and it's ok. This year has brought a tech revolution to my life. After being a MacBook and iPod Touch user for years, I've rearranged to work with the Mac, and alongside it, a Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0, Motorola Xoom, and this month added a VM HTC Evo V phone. (Samsung galaxy Player 5.0 pretty much going out the window.) Some of those infamous Evo issues have brought me to the forums enough times that I figured I'd better join. (Still not sure I'll keep the Evo, though if I can just trust it, I love this phone.)
I'm determined to get my trouble-shooting assistance from you guys so I can tell my 6-yr-old little smart-pants about my smartphone issues and how I'm smart enough to fix it without telling him I got so smart from the smarts on the forums. Anything to stop him from telling me how to use my smartphone and laughing so much he can't even get my homemade cookies into his quaking chops... how smart is that anyway...
