How's auto brightness on 4.2.2?

I've just switched my Nexus 7 back to using automatic brightness now that I'm on 4.2.2 to see if it is working any better. Has anyone else tested auto brightness on 4.2.2?

I am feeling its much better than before.
I used to have an app from play store for auto brightness instead of the stock one, it was good but after the latest update I feel the sensor became better.

Seems to be about the same. My house is dark so on auto, I still get the slow flickering.

That was what I was seeing too, especially when using it as an ebook reader, but I'm not reading a book now, so it may be a while before I notice it again .
