HP TP won't tether with Lucid

I've tried both ways,rooted and non rooted and the TP never sees the Lucid 100%.Sometimes it works,sometimes it doesn't.The thing is my net book,iPod touch,desktop and everything electronic in my house sees it.Please help.Thanks!

My wife tethers her HP TouchPad (both webOS and CM9) to her non-rooted Lucid everyday using FoxFi.

I've tried FoxFi,everything else sees it but the TP.It sees it here and there,but doesn't always want to connect

I know that CM9 on the TouchPad is partial to wifi channels 1 or 6, you might want to use Wifi Analyzer on your TouchPad to see what channel FoxFi is presenting and also how congested that channel is. I know that WiFi on the TouchPad can be hit or miss at times.
