HTC 10 stuck boot loop I feel like a dumbass :(

Ok buddy so this won't erase internal storage right?
Internal storage WILL be deleted.
However, I do believe TWRP has a backup option for internal storage.

Also, technically you just dirty flashed a
ROM and really shouldn't be done. But yolo.

Dirty Flashing: Flashing a ROM over another ROM that is not the same as the ROM you are flashing without wiping data, cache, etc...

When I go to twrp I see mount decrypt data enter password I dont know password I hit cancel then I swipe to allow modifications then I go to twrp backup, internal storage is 0mb. If I backup system & system image will that backup internal storage? If not I just have to accept my internal storage is gone I will do clean rom install.

Well, it seems you have to accept that your internal storage is gone. It seems that it IS gone.

It shouldn't, but the problem you're going to have is that your data partition was encrypted and the decryption key that you're looking for was in your old system partition. Without that decryption key, you're SOL, sorry to say. :(

Yeah I learned a very crucial life lesson. Always backup your phone before doing anything in twrp. I never made a nandroid backup big mistake. Well at least I did not lose all the internal storage data. I backed up most of the files but not all that's ok though :)

Hard lesson to learn, but I hope nothing critical was lost. I am now a belt & suspenders backup zealot after losing a data disk in a production environment that i had been meaning to get around to backing up.
