Help HTC 10

My HTC 10 is through Verizon and I can double tap the screen to turn the screen on, but when I double tap it to turn it off it doesn't work anyone no what the problem could be. Thanks

WELCOME TO ANDROID FORUMS !

Double-Tap To Sleep is not a baked-in feature (One would think so & why not,right?)

However,there is a way to put it on your phone (there are a few apps in the Play Store that do this,I'll share how I have mine set-up):

Download DTSO:

I use the transparent widget option & place it on a section of my home screen that is empty.

If you have any issues getting this set-up & running,by all means,chime back in.
It may be an hour or two before I'm back on,getting ready to leave work for the house.I'll check back in & see how it's going ASAP.

Just dropping back in,did you get the Double-Tap To Sleep set-up?

Yes I got that and it says double tap to put to sleep but only works to wake it up.
