Help HTC Amaze Crashing - Help please

I'm new here....I have a T-Mobile HTC Amaze, the phone started crashing all the time, I have noticed in the last few days that it always seems to happen when the battery gets low and the low battery warning appears. As soon as I get a low battery warning (15% I think) it starts crashing.

Any ideas how to correct this? Thanks in advance.

Hello 5280Jay and welcome to Android Forums. I can't imagine why getting low on battery would cause your phone to crash. However, if it's consistent, it must be the culprit. The obvious work around would be to never let the battery drain to the point of it causing problems. To solve the problem you might have to do some investigating to see what you have running when your crashing occurs. There must be something that doesn't behave when you are short of power. In any event, I hope you get to the bottom of your problem and I hope you enjoy your time here at AF.

Happened to me too, just replaced the battery and i got it working again.
I recommend getting an Anker Battery

If you are still under 1 year of purchase your carrier will be happy to help, might even be able to squeeze one out of them over a year after purchase, this is of coarse if you bought the phone directly from a carrier. I'm currently on battery number three, two of my batteries get to 40% and the phone doesn't like to function or stay on (use only HTC chargers) also HTC is oddly not so happy to send new batteries they first want a 50.00 deposit or want you to send the problem battery first and only when they receive the battery will they send a new one. unless your willing to let them tie up 50 smacks.

but batteries are cheap online and a new one is likely going to solve your random shut down problem.
