Clearly you haven't been following this sub-forum very long. The guy ran out of "chances" a long time ago, and I think I was more patient than Nash. Anyone who back tracks and deletes their posts, or threatens to leave for good a dozen or so times but still comes back... Somethings not right here. Besides, as much as I appreciated his info when he first claimed to have it, news from across the pond doesn't help a whole lot here. Just wait for BGR, Engadget, or some other mobile blog to publish something when their local connect has something to say. 'Til then...:cool:
 
Okay everyone, let's stop with the redundant comments please :) If he doesn't have the news, then yapping about it won't help at all -- it will only fill this thread. I guess all we can do is wait. :)
 
You guys know that he is just messing with people. He never saw anything, and has no contacts of contacts. He thinks its funny. It kinda is
 
Was just daydreaming about phones and thought what if the Bravo and Incredible both came to Verizon. The bravo being a junior incredible at 3.7" and the incredible taking the gold as the flagship verizon superphone.


....and nobody say "and then you wake up"..lol...it could happen :p

in one of the Incredible blogs, didn't it say something about it being red? Oh man, can you imagine, it gets released, for VZ, has all the specs we're hoping for, and the thing is flaming red! That would be a freakin riot! Talking about having to choose between things that should matter and things that don't. "N1, beautiful phone, great specs, ugly stock android.... or INCREDIBLE, beautiful Sense UI, great specs, and phone looks like its wearing underoos!":)
 
Honestly, the more I look at these the more I'm kind of leaning towards the N1. The bravo information is so mediocre at this point that it's hard to really put all my desire towards it as we don't even know that it will land on VZW (yes, I understand that all signs point to it coming). I don't know, I feel that the N1 actually suits my needs especially now with multitouch capability. I do like the look of Sense but I'm not so sure it's worth the wait following the N1 coming out...
 
you're right, it is going to be a tough call. But I just really like the sense ui, man they did a nice job with that. I know its eye candy, but it is easy-to-understand-and-use eye candy. I've been waiting so long, at this point I think I can wait as long as I have to.
 
I completely understand the eye candy thing...hell Apple has gotten away with that for years now...

The only thing that concerns me about the N1 is the stock keyboard, I have heard from multiple people that the sense keyboard is leaps and bounds ahead of it.

There can never be fault for someone wanting something aesthetically pleasing! I really just want to get an Android phone in hand as I'm using a BB right now...I'm ready for the change...I wish VZW would just comply and put out something that isn't the Droid or Eris.

I was under the impression that you had to root it, but I'm not positive on that. Anyone that knows for sure please correct me or verify.

News do have any idea what the phone is that passed through the FCC yesterday. The htc model number is PB81120. The model number for the HD2 is PB81100. Looks like the PB81120 might be the android version for T-mobile here in the states or the HD2. Any thoughts on this. Thanks!

I agree with what was previously stated. If you get info just post it, prove the doubters wrong. I know if I were in your position I would most definitely want to be the one to post it just to make us all stfu...

This doesn't mean I believe you, this means I'm providing you an opening to make me stop doubting and eat my words...up to you...

Newsy, nothing got closed, it was just moved. Don't be baited, if you have something, post it however you choose. Engaging in arguments on the interwebz is just teh dumb. If there are those of us willing to listen to newsy, so what? What am I going to do otherwise? continue to wait? That's what we're already doing.

I'd really like to commend Ruben for fighting the good fight and trying to keep this thread on topic. I've been following these forums for many months now and its been refreshing to see someone not focused on personal insults (there are many more great posters as well but Ruben deserves his due). Why people enjoy bashing the one person who "may" have helpful info is beyond me. If newsradio turns out to be right, that's awesome and I'll say thanks in advance. If he's wrong, who cares? We'll have no less credible evidence than we did yesterday. Lack of credible leaked info is turning this forum into a lord-of-the-flies-like devolution. So in closing, best of luck to newsradio or anyone else out there that is able to track something down.

I believe what is attempting to be conveyed by those that doubt and/or bash newsradio isn't so much a desperation for credible evidence, but more so a call to credibility. If you read through the forums he had lost credibility with many people as he has not come through with any info as he has stated, he's continuously deleted his posts (clearing accountability), and has generally just been wrong.

I do hope that he comes out and can shut up those that are skeptical, but I think many people are sick of getting their hopes up and being let down. You cry wolf enough times and soon enough people don't come running anymore.

I think what's the most frustrating to me is the same people complaining over and over again after he fails to come through with info that doesn't meet their expectations. If he consistently lets you down, what is the purpose of continually being shocked and bashing him when he does it again.

We should just all calmly sit back and wait for bits and pieces of info and combine them here...which we've been doing so far. So can we all just cool and calmly stfu....help ME help YOU STFU (...aaaand it rhymes :p )


That being said, I've set the clock to 5hrs from now, and if we get nothing, oh well. Rueben, please be diligant in checking your email :D (refresh like the wind my friend!!!)

I wouldn't consider what I'm saying to be bashing or flaming. I am doing nothing more than stating the skeptics side. I'm not making this personal, I'm not going to either, but just stating facts. You can think I'm bashing, hell people can bash me, but I'm not going to care because I'm going to state my opinion.

My apologies eipee, I didn't realize I quoted your post (I've corrected my original post). It was not targeted at you nor meant to say that you bashed anyone. I was simply stating my opinion of how this thread has progressed overall.
