I got this phone because when I was in the shop the adviser said it will be good since I use the internet a lot for Facebook and Twitter.
The only problem is not only do I keep getting 'Memory Low' my battery lasts 1-2 hours. If I'd known this I would never have gotten the phone. I am always getting shouted at by my parents for not getting in touch while out saying what time I will be home. I leave the house with full battery and even if I'm not doing anything except checking the time my battery goes down really fast. It's starting to frustrate me. I'm currently looking for work and need my phone to last all day while I'm out in case I get a call about a job.
Can anyone help?

Hello BeccaClaire and welcome to Android Forums. Most all smart phones are battery hogs. There are ways to slow down that drain. I would suggest adjusting the frequency that your social apps are checking for updates. The more frequent, the more battery drain. You might even consider placing your phone in airplane mode in times when you know you won't be checking your social networks. They will all refresh as soon as you take the phone out of airplane mode.
As for your low memory. You will likely want to delete some of your saved texts. They take up space over a period of time. You can also clear your cache on such apps that save up a lot of history. You might also consider saving and or moving pictures and music and such to your sd storage.
The last thing you might consider is an additional battery or an extended battery. Either can be had without a great expenditure and should give you a longer up time and put you back in good graces with your parents.

To get more memory I recently uninstalled updates on facebook and now I dont have an issue with the memory.
