HTC Desire 4G in the US

Hey everyone,

I have a euro model HTC desire. It can only pick up the Edge spectrum because of the preset frequency. Any idea how I can get onto the US 4G networks which are on a different spectrum. Any help is great.

European model won't be able to get 3G in the USA.

HTC Desire cannot get 4G anywhere. It's not designed to be a 4G phone.

There is nothing you "can do" about that, other than buy a US version of the phone.

hey buddy, i've been where you are now. i'm using the desire here in the us on tmobile, and the phone can only use edge connectivity here. the actual physical radio (not the software driver, which goes by the same name) is not compatible with the us bands for 3g, never mind 4g. there is nothing you can do about it.

a little research before investing money in an expensive phone can go a long way.....
