HTC desire 601 notification icon help

Can anyone tell me what the icon between my GPS icon and my WiFi icon is. It looks like 2 arrows clipped together, one facing up and the other down. I can't seem to get rid of it. I would appreciate it. Thanks
 
It's the NFC icon. Go to settings, and then click more under media output. You can turn it off from there.
