HTC Desire 612 root?

Hi, Was just curious if there was any real guide anywhere, or if it was even possible to root the htc desire 612. Im pulling my hair out trying to find an answer, wasn't sure if anyone here had any information at all on it. Much appreciated in advance one way or another!
 
Looks like I'll have to figure something else out, the good folks at oneclickroot say I have to purchase an app called sunshine before purchasing their app. And 50 ~60 bucks is a bit steep just to root a phone in my book. I'll keep searching for now, but thanks for your reply!
 
Ya, I decided to go ahead and get it as the good people over at oneclickroot advised, and it did not work, their response was "ooh my" "Thats bad" lol. I guess the 612 is not looking good as far as ever being able to obtain root on it. No fun :(
 
Finally! HTC Desire 612 supported by Sunshine! I purchased it this morning, S-Off'd, and when I got home from work today I rooted via Kingo Root and everything is beautiful. I've seen a few other posts in my travels wondering how to get root on the 612, just figured I'd update here to throw a flag out to those still wondering.
 
Hi. Im new to this. I want to know if i have to root my htc desire 612 phone if i want to be able to change the notification tones to ringtones that i made myself or do you know the folder structure needed to get my ringtones to show up as notification tones as well? I made my own ringtones and i am trying to set a different tone for different people in my messaging+ app that comes pre-installed on my device, but its not letting me use the ones i downloaded from zedge or the ones i made myself.
Your help is truly appreciated. Thank you!!
